Happy Thanks Giving

Happy Thanksgiving, this is my favorite holiday. Family’s come together as a group and gives thanks. This year will be it will be slim but a turkey is in the oven, corn bread stuffing, I make the broth from cooking chicken and saving the broth year round. The pan has been handed down for at least 4 generations. I have cooked the family Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for the last 22 years, It is just a bird, potatoes, stuffing, steamed carrots and celery, and cranberry, No rolls, olives or pie, but it is not the food it is the coming together as a family and giving thanks to God, it is the saying of grace. It pains me to think this will be the first Dinner without either of my daughters, but my son-in-law and 2 for my grand children will be there and my mother in law. I plan to put my notebook computer on the table and record dinner to send back to my oldest. Hugs Grandma Scott
